About Mrs. Robertson
I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my fifteenth year of teaching, and my 11th year teaching 5th grade. In addition to 5th grade (my favorite!), I've taught 6-8 language arts, math, science and history.

In my spare time, I can be found reading, swimming, camping or hiking.
Family
I am married and have two grown children. My husband, Eric, is a computer technician/systems integrator. My son, Trevor, graduated from Chapman University and is a copywriter working in the Bay area. My daughter, Sydney, is currently a geology major working on her undergraduate degree at CSUB.
Philosophy
I am a passionate and enthusiatic teacher. I work hard to incorporate lessons that are rigorous, standards-based, and engaging. It is my intent that your student leave 5th grade with a firm command and proficiency of the content standards, as well as the skills and desire to apply this knowledge to future academic or inquisitive pursuits.
